Years ago when I was reading the Lord of the Rings, I could not imagine there would be a book as beautifully written and more entertaining. The Hobbit exceeded my expectations and raised them a lot higher for the future books of fantasy genre I will read someday.
Every year around this time of winter I have the need to read fantasy. From the boring and cold and colorless life of the winter to the warm and magical lands, fantasy fiction takes me. Ever since I was a little child without good friends and any siblings to play with, fantastic tales have been my savior. They would take me to new worlds of endless possibilities. I would daydream for hours and hours. I still do sometimes.
With little Bilbo I have traveled through a time there was not and actually there was. I could hear the sounds and smell the dragon`s breath. And I have seen many a dawn and dusk through his eyes. It was a thrilling adventure we had. We were there and now we are back again.
I will keep on dreaming of the far away lands of my own imagination and leave you with some images of our little adventure I have collected on the internet. Enjoy!
