Goal #8 First Sumi-e Trial after Two Years

     So here is my very first Sumi-e that I've done at home.

    My skill in Sumi-e painting seems to be degraded a good deal since I came back from Japan. :( 

    I hoped for doing better than this, but still this is actually satisfying. My excuse is that I don't have the right type of paper for painting Sumi-e. I looked at the blogs of professional painters and apparently one has to use Mulberry Paper, which I don't know where to find here in Turkey.

    

    Below is a picture of my working space. It's upside down though. The light was no good from the opposite side. 

    Anyways... I'm working harder than before to succeed in realizing my dreams and completing my goals in time. This was another step I took today, with a brush in my hand and my desire for art in my heart. :) Next step is easier now. (^v^)
