Goal #2 I've Got a Job!!! :)

   Hey there! I have tremendous news for you :) Finally, I`ve got a decent job in a PR company here in Istanbul.

    Last Monday while I was sitting around at home doing almost nothing useful, I got a phone call out of blue. It was about the part-time job application I had done online at some website. A PR company wanted to interview me that same day if possible. I think my brain stopped working for a few seconds after the call, because I was so excited, since this would be my first proper job interview. After getting dressed -a skirt and a jacket; unusual clothing for me- I rushed to the adress they gave me, which by the way is very far away from my home and the city center.

    I was interviewed by the General Manager and I got a very positive vibe from that place. After it was finished, I was not as much excited but a bit anxious, because I didn`t think I had done a good job. In the evening of that same day I was called for another interview at another company. O_o wow! What`s happening? Why all of a sudden I`m having calls from everywhere? -I know two isn`t a crowd but the next day there was a third call :P-

    Anyways... In less than 24 hours guess what happened :) I was invited for a second interview. The manager told me that they wanted to work with me! I didn`t expect that, seriously wtf?! I wanted to shout out my happiness :D Luckily I was able to keep myself in control and listened to what the manager had to say about my position.

     Apparently, my responsibilities include monitoring the trends in the social media, social networking sites, monitoring the PR activities of other grand companies/organizations on such sites and creating content compatible and effective with new methods of communication. I will watch what`s happening and make plans and designs accordingly.

     I still can`t believe that I`m blessed with such opportunity. Although I don`t know much about PR or HTML programming, I believe in myself that I can pull it off. I`ve already started to read about PR and web design. I`m also watching what is going on on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr and so on.

    Last time I told you about the tutoring job. I managed to cut a deal with that party as well. So at the moment  I have two part-time jobs, with which my income next month will exceed my old expectations about the future. I may be able to rent my own room or apartment by the end of this summer. And that thought keeps me motivated to do my best.

    I like dreaming about the better things to come. Once you believe in something and wish for something from the bottom of your heart, the universe responds to that in a most generous way.
